About The Event
This SFTM workshop will focus on using the imagination to embody feelings around surprise and sadness. What emotions, physiological responses, thoughts do we have in each of these states? We'll embody our responses to understand these two powerful phenomena more.
Class Blueprint/Guideline:
1. Warm Up/Sensory Cypher: Movers enjoy sensory experiences (music, lighting, snacks, etc.) and participate in dance cyphers based on the sensory experience (audio cypher, visual cypher, taste cypher, etc.).
2. Intro and Breakdown:
- Instructor, SFTM, and community intro games
- what is sadness and how does it feel in our body?
